Operations Analyst
Job Summary
This role focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, driving cost reductions, and standardizing key processes. The Operations Analyst will provide technical and analytical support to senior leadership, with a strong emphasis on improving overall operational performance and coordinating key projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Cost Reduction
- Lead energy efficiency initiatives (e.g., electricity usage, solar projects, inverter optimization)
- Optimize refrigeration systems
- Conduct cost modeling and identify savings opportunities
2. Project Management
- Perform due diligence for expansion projects
- Manage projects to ensure timely execution and delivery
- Compile business plans and governance documentation
- Develop financial and operational models
3. Process Efficiency Optimization
- Develop queuing models to reduce operational delays
- Optimize facility layouts for improved workflow efficiency
4. Continuous Improvement
- Conduct feasibility studies (e.g., automation, ROI analysis)
- Perform data mining to support strategic decision-making
- Explore forecasting opportunities using historical data
5. Supply Chain & Logistical Support
- Evaluate feasibility of inter-site stock transfers to improve load efficiency
6. Ad-Hoc Projects
- Support operations during new site launches (including on-site oversight when required)
- Drive waste reduction initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
- Implement statistical process control for quality tracking
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 1–2 years of working experience (excluding vacation work)
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Basic programming (Python/SQL advantageous)
- Lean / Six Sigma fundamentals
- Process modeling (e.g., queuing theory, simulation)
- Project management experience
- Statistical analysis (tools and methods)

Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to CAD or AnyLogic (facility layout and simulation)
