One of our clients, a leading South African Financial Services Provider, is looking for a highly talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team to complement and play a key role in reinvigorating their department and work with great professionals.

The digital marketing specialist will develop and promote a strong B2C identity. The ideal candidate will be qualified to design, produce, and manage digital marketing campaigns according to the strategy of the company by combining skills and adequate experience in SEO + interactive Website & Social Media activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, PPC and SEM.
  • Assist in overseeing the social media strategy for the company alongside other marketing department team members.
  • Assisting online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
  • Assisting with any redesign of the company websites.
  • Improving the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website.
  • Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data derived from digital channels.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Management of paid social media campaigns.
  • Management and set up of Adwords campaigns.
  • Implement and actively monitor media campaigns to optimize relevance and impact.
  • Produce and distribute emailing and newsletters in order to announce, inform or promote new offers.
  • Upload weekly articles and share them on social networks (inc. LinkedIn groups) identified.
  • Produce reports of activity.
  • Ensure that the documents used by the sales team are branded and up to date.
  • Develop print material and branding strategy for employee use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in the field of marketing/communication
  • Experience within a Financial Services sector and/or Union organizations would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing PPC and SEO programmes and understanding of online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
