We have a fabulous opportunity for a Group Finance Accountant. The successful candidate will be working with various parts of the business, from Group Tax and FP&A to the Investor Relations Team, so this role plays a key role within the business.

This role ensures the month-end, half-year and year-end processes are actioned smoothly and also collaborates with external auditors, where you would be planning and liaising to ensure our audits are completed successfully. Part of this role involves liaising with senior stakeholders in the business and providing ad-hoc information and reports – a exciting opportunity to build relationships within the business!

As well as the day to day – the successful candidate will be able to implement their own ideas to improve and streamline the current processes. So having a curious mindset, being able to challenge our current ways of working and having the confidence to back your ideas is actively encouraged here.

About you

• Professional qualified accountant with a Bcom Degree/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Demonstratable experience of working in a similar role
• Experience of working with multi-currency consolidations – desirable but not essential
• The ability to influence and confidently communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders with varying levels of financial competence
• Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders
