A leading Skills Development company based in Sandton, Johannesburg is looking for a Sales Executive to join their ever growing team. 

Duties & Responsibilities

The main purpose of the job is to achieve individual sale targets by providing Skills Solutions for existing or prospective clients in line with the business strategy.

Job objectives

• Sales:
o Contribute towards and drive sales strategy to increase revenue and profit
o Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns and advise them of the best training solution for their needs
o Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on the best training solution for their needs
o Negotiate contracts and packages within the company’s parameters for GP
o Build business by identifying and selling the company’s portfolio
o Meet and exceed targets in line with the business units’ strategy and budget.

• People Management:
o Lead culture in line with the organisation’s EVP
o Continuously develop own BBBEE, product, industry and company knowledge and share with the team
o Work with cross functional teams including finance, marketing and operations

• Customers:
o Ensure customer retention by servicing and visiting existing clients with the aim to extend and explore potential new business
o Cultivate and maintain relationships among business partners, clients and consultants

• Marketing:
o Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and the company’s marketing strategy:
▪ Relationship marketing
▪ Experiential marketing
▪ Commercial marketing

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar industry 

Package & Remuneration

You will be offered a basic salary plus a commission structure.
